U.S. Military Clears A-Team

Posted on Tuesday, August 10 at 14:22 by Anonymous
[ :) - Ed.] After more than 30 years spent hiding in the Los Angeles underground as wanted criminals, the members of the crack commando unit Alpha Team, commonly known as the A-Team, were cleared of all charges brought against them by the U.S. military, an army official announced Monday.

Thank God it's finally over and the team's been cleared. Maybe if they replace Hannibal with Rambo, the U.S. will be able to clean up some of those annoying little situations that keep popping up.

What I don't get is how Rambo and his ilk can clean up messes on their own that the U.S. can't seem to resolve using 300,000 other troops.

    Mysteries abound...

P.S., think the face may have been hiding out under an assumed name on the Battlestar Galactica for awhile, but have no hard evidence.

Yea, and the crazy guy was hiding out as an engineer on the USS Enterprise for a while. . .right under their noses!<p> I love the Onion ;-)<p> <p>---<br>"History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme" Mark Twain <br />

    Reg wasn't crazy...just...misunderstood.

Remember, it was he who helped Captain Janeway change the future to a brighter one for both Tuvok and the love doves, Chacotay (probably mispelled) and Seven of Nine.

Got to admit, I found that Chacotay/Seven of Nine thing a bit cheesy in the final two episodes. Besides, I heard children of mixed Native America-Borg marriages have things a bit tough, something to do with an insatiable desire to assimilate others into the Chicken Dance.

I hope they start refering to T'Pol on Enterprise by her Borg designation - "36 of D". ;)<p> <p>---<br>"History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme" Mark Twain <br />

I think her designation may be a bit higher.

I'm just waiting until Star Trek gets really desperate and introduces Brittany Spears as '0' of '0', the assimilation challenged Borg (Gee, aren't my implants just so it??).

Hey, shouldn't we be acting more serious and pontific?

Why? This story was released for it's smile factor. Being serious would just spoil it. Plus, it's almost impossible to go offtopic with a story that has such a loose topic :)<p> <p>---<br>"History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme" Mark Twain <br />

Okay, I'll try my best to put aside the staid Canadian exterior every once in awhile and loosen up...

My wife sometimes watches CNN (mostly to put her off to sleep).

If I can handle that, I can handle T'Pol, Seven of Nine, Dax, etc. for 23 hours (in my dreams).

Unfortunately, my wife may have other plans for me. She doesn't get the point that 'Labour' day should involve a cessation of labour. Must be a pawn of the capitalist running dogs, or something.
