· 7:30 – 9:00: Cam Ostercamp, a cattle rancher from Blackie, will present on BSE issues and a Proposed Solution. BSE is a producer, consumer, and political trade issue that affects all of us. Cam has spearheaded the formation of a group called The Beef Initiative Group (BIG). The Beef Initiative Group is a spearhead organization designed to put primary beef producers into a leadership position to help solve existing industry barriers with the United States by expanding economic opportunities outside of North America and improving the Canadian industry’s overall competitive position.
