In some ways I feel these disputes are good for our own industries. We need to become more self-sufficient and less dependent on the U.S. market for our exports. We need to slow economic growth for a time because that will be what's in store for Canada and the world sooner than later and we need to adjust to that reality. Get over it lumber and cattle industry, the border will open when the U.S. decides it's to their advantage and no sooner.

Yeah, I agree, we can be self sufficient in all areas! But whenever it comes to this, our sellout politicians are chickenshits! We need people in office that have a backbone and a vision for Canada, not these scumbag sellouts!
