Posted on Thursday, February 19 at 01:42 by 4Canada
I checked out The Corporation (the movie) webpage and found a link to The Aurora Institute. They have an article titled Corporation: Inside and Out that answered many of the questions I've had over the years about corporate unaccountability. For anyone upset about this subject the Aurora is trying to do something about it and they give suggestions on how we can be of help.

Note: Corporation: Inside and...

The Corporation is a great Canaidan Film. Obviously, they got a lot our of having Michael Moore in the film, but he was only a small part of it. It\'s done well critically and monetarily, and is a tribute to Canadian filmmaking-talent, which emphasizes style and substance, over phony style and over-produced hype. It\'s also 2.5 hours long, so it\'s worth the money. Perspnally, I found the last third a bit repetitive and unfocused, but thought some critical reviews of the film were very harsh. It has few answers, but is hopeful. I love how society puts down films which challenge archaic views, saying it \"Got a bad review.\" The airheads. ):

Most Canadians who see the movie will likley not recognize Maude Barlow, and other prominent Canadians, except possibly Naomi Klein. (young people at least) Adults would certainly recognize the nutbar Pierre Pettigrew schmoozing with Tom D\'Aquino at the trade talks......loved that, where\'d they get that footage? :)

They did a lot of editing right from TV programs.

Great job, and I haven\'t seen the whole film yet. Just watched an interview on the Vicki Gabereau show, showing clips of the film and such.

this is just one piece of the puzzle of an even bigger picture, and the bigger picture are these key words one should use in search engines Illuminati New World Order Albert Pike Rothchilds

bottom line for corperate new world order is this... (1)Consolidate everything....
    (2) Commercialize everything....
    (3) Classify everything....
    (4) Claim everything....
    (5) Control everything....

think bigger people, it\'s about global domination, or think \" Blade Runner \" where 5 corperations ruled the planet

Corporations are at or near their peak of productivity and control. In not too many years they will start to show signs of decline, their market will be saturated, the average person on the street won\'t be able to afford their products, there will be more wars over resources, then riots in the streets, and on it goes.

The 20th century was for srong government, the 21st century will be for the corporations, for perhaps 40 or 50 years. The seams will start showing soon.

By the end of the 21st century things will be at a much poorer stage than they are right now.

    It is unstoppable.

I\'m so glad I\'m not 20 years old and trying to buck the trend. I feel for the new generation, your life will be much different than it is today.

Sorry, I just had to bring a little sunshine into your life.

Yeah Doc, but if people stop paying for music, EVENTUALLY, the companies will stop producing it. It looks like the perennial slow-sellers like Jazz and classical are the only safe-bets for the industry today.

The link Jim provided has the gall to claim that the main reason confederation happened was to increases trade for merchants. This is a very ridiculous, mercenary claim. Trade was only part of the equation.

MacDonald was against free trade with the United States. He wanted a railway to connect British North American. protecting it from American imperialism. The fact that business would profit was a factorm, but these businesses also wanted a COUNTRY to profit as well. If they didn\'t want this, they would have simply joined the US, if all they cared about was liberty-loving money-grubbing.

There\'s NOTHING wrong with businesses wanting to protect the Canadian market for goods. These weren\'t \"Corporations\" in the sense of the word today.
