Pierre Brabant, 34, has pleaded not guilty to charges of armed assault, uttering threats and possession of a dangerous weapon, and doesn't face a hate charge.
His bail hearing has been put off until Tuesday. The Crown hasn't decided how it will proceed with the case.
As a well-known leader in Montreal's Muslim community, Jazeri helped organize a peaceful protest in the city last February against the publication of controversial Danish cartoons that depicted Muhammad wearing a turban shaped like a bomb.

While I am not a muslim, I would not hate anybody simply because some yoyo or another who happens to share their basic faith, alledgedly did something that has not yet been brought to trial in a court of law.
It would be the same as accusing all Christians of being the same stock as Oral Roberts, which is something I personally would find very offensive.
