It is not the first time that the WTO has ruled in our favor on this issue and I expect that the US will present some other specious arguement and we will be going back to the WTO for another useless round of bullshit!
We should do what they do in reverse. We should declare that we will no longer subsidize any of our foriegn owned industries and we should tack a 10% per barrel world price tax on oil exports and a similar tax on natural gas exports because we do not want to cause harm to producers in other countries.

That would be great except Alberta will have a fit.

Hell no we wouldn't. 10% extra in the coffers, we'd throw a kegger for our other siamese province, Newfoundland & Labrador!<p> <p>---<br>"History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme" Mark Twain <br />

I read or saw somewhere that some 25% of Saskatchewanites (?) would like to join the US.

I wonder what percentage of Albertans would like that ? I know Ralph would !!

BC ?? We should do a survey so we know every province by percentage.

Then we have to ask them why and show them the light !!

Surely, from what I read in the newspapers, Harper's Conservatives can't really hope to win the next election ?

I know the Liberals suck, but the C's ?? No way !!

Listen to Harper about Jack Layton: Destroy the country, destroy the corporations, too much money for social programs; and I thought Harper had a brain.

Jim where did you get the idea that Harper had a brain? I have yet to hear anything that would indicate that! So far all I hear from him is parroting the U.S. He could be Celluci's aide!

The NDP is our only hope unless CAP gets it together, but still they won't have enough money or candidates...too bad!

    Whelan,

Seems like that event that is going on in Vancouver which is launching the Progressive Party Of Canada, is also looking to influence the name change of the Canadian Action Party.

What the heck are the cons doing influencing the CAP? That is ridiculous!

Whelan, thanks for waking me out of a nightmare. What was I thinking ??

My only hope is the C's don't win the election because the liberals gave it away. A minority government is our best bet this time around.

The NDP won't win the election so we could be DOOOOOOMED !!

Jim, I'm actually starting to believe we should think more positively, if you think you can do something you can! So if we beleive and promote it the NDP could very well win the election. The liberals are what they are, and the cons are what they are; perhaps people will take a chance on Layton and co..

The liberals are throwing dirt back at the cons now, saying that one of those slush funds in contraversy was started by Mulroney. So if the people get to knowing that the history of the cons is similar to the liberals, we only have one choice and that is the NDP, for this election at least!
