Many of you expressed a wish that there was something you could do to help out Jeremy. I know that it might feel daunting to try to make a donation big enough to defray legal costs, but there is another way ...
If each of you could donate between 15 - 20 dollars, we'd be able to get a computer for Jeremy and Nga, and have enough left to hook up a land line. I'm only asking because things are getting really hard to manage when even *I* can't really communicate with Jeremy on a daily basis (I'm in Nova Scotia and Jeremy is in Ontario).
With a computer and a landline, Jeremy and Nga would be able to email from home, and take and make phone calls during the day. The difference this would make would be more huge than I could possibly ever explain.
So if you can give, it would really help us out if you would. And if you can't, I can completely relate to that, too. And if any of you belong to organizations who might be able to make a group-donation to Jeremy's cause, that'd be great, too.
If we end up with more money than we need, we'll put it towards the costs of maintaining JeremyHinzman.net. It's great that we're getting so much traffic, but that increases our costs, too.
