P3 Courthouse Proceeds Despite Judges' Concerns

The announcement comes after Chief Justice Allan Wachowich of Court of Queen's Bench and other top judges met with Premier Ralph Klein Tuesday to express the view that such a "P3" facility threatens judicial independence.

Wachowich said he told Klein there are risks if the companies involved in building, financing and operating the building ever end up in court.

    So even though the judges themselves say that this arrangement could impact, or put undo pressure or prejudice on them towards certain cases, the government in their wisdom says, \'So What\'. Arrogance in government just never really ceases to amaze me!

    It\'s ralph klein... If he could privatize the judges as well - he would!
