Where Are The Little Yellow Triangles?

Posted on Wednesday, August 22 at 15:10 by rearguard
Late Tuesday, photographs taken by another protester surfaced, showing the trio lying prone on the ground. The photos show the soles of their boots adorned by yellow triangles. A police officer kneeling beside the men has an identical yellow triangle on the sole of his boot. Now, we too have been unable to find that image of those apparently matching triangles*. Link to full story http://pacificgazette.blogspot.com/2007/08/where-are-little-yellow-triangles.html Rearguard writes: Here's a link to the photo showing the yellow triangle under the boots, and a lot more discussion: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=102&topic_id=2962268&mesg_id=2962596 Note that ordinary work boots may have a yellow triangle which shows what classification they fall into, so what kind of boot is issued to the Quebec police? Since the police are refusing to acknowledge the arrests, then either the 3 were indeed cops (as it appears), or the 3 have been "disappeared" which is a far more serious matter! Finally, in the youtube video*, one of the cops had his face mask removed for a second therefore he can be identified. * link to video http://pacificgazette.blogspot.com/2007/08/theres-something-happening-here.html

    I don't think the soles prove much, other than they were manufactured by the same company. But if you drill down in the DemocraticUnderground thread - there is another photo that shows a protester and a SdQ officer wearing the exact same pair of boots.<br />

    Again, just means they shop in the same place. And the fact the protesters were let *through* the police line, and when confronted went toward the police line, not away. <br />

    These are the Vibram brand "fire/police" boots that appear to match the yellow logo<br />

    <br />
    Not 100% proof, but the odds of these guys all buying the exact same pair of boots as do the cops is astronomical to say the least!<br />

    Obviously these thugs are mentally stunted because they forgot to change their boots!

    The other matter is that the 3 "agitators" were clearly arrested, and the proof of this fact is undeniable given the eyewitness reports, video, and still footage, which means the police are supposed to follow some sort of established procedure to process these people. I'm sure that the police are legally bound to make all arrests a matter of the public record, which means eventually they'll have to face the music for their illegal actions.

    I hope someone will be able to identify the big ape who had his face mask removed for a brief second.

    Looks to me that the cops screwed up big time on this one, and that'll be major egg in the face of blind fools who think we're all just "tin foil" nutters.

    There is a slight problem in the Criminal code - you can be arrested for insighting to riot, but there is nothing you can be charged with. Kind of a catch-and-release thing.

    Since these men probabally weren't charged, their names won't be released. Which does nothing to show that they weren't cops.

    If so, then too bad.

    As for the police, they're facing a major credibility problem - a problem that puts all police officers at an increased disadvantage in this country who rely on the good will of the people to safely do their work. Now why don't they at least try and clear up the matter? Instead they've done everything expected if they were guilty as accused - secrecy and more secrecy, issuing a non denial denial, etc.

    Acting in strict accordance with the rules of evidence the soles of the footwear worn by the protestors cannot be assumed to be anything more than of the same, or, similar make as those worn by the attending police.<br />
    …And this is where it gets real tricky folk so watch the bouncing ball!<br />
    <br />
    Based solely (pun unintended) the brand of footwear a “connection has been made and the connection is an assumption. <br />
    People who plot this stuff out, the use of provocateurs’, whatever their intentions are, are not to be seen as idiots, but to dismiss the charges of provocateur based on *any* supposition, for or against, is dangerous.<br />

    As I have mentioned in a previous post I have a friend who was a former undercover RCMP cop and in our conversation I’ve had many a suspicion confirmed. For example the RCMP are trained to “look for trouble” every moment of there wakening.<br />
    They have been indoctrinated to “see” lawbreakers wherever they look!<br />
    Think about that!<br />
    Think long and think hard about the type of training these once fellowmen receive<br />
    Then lay that over any protest event<br />
    These former friends and neighbours are no longer members of the general population anymore than any other oath taking automaton who is in “service” of his “country”<br />

    passions on both sides of this issue run high and speaking as one who favours freedom over the state I believe our side (if such a concept actually exists) needs to not become as rabid as their side.<br />
