Zmag And Moore On Saddam.

Yeehaw. So they captured Saddam. He will no doubt be executed around 2 weeks prior to the US presidential election, live on TV. Maybe they'll have a whole season of Survivor to determine who gets to pull the switch. So much for the Democrats.

Except, as you'll see from these excellent articles, Saddam's capture won't help the real problems of the American quagmire in Iraq, terrorism, or their own economy:

The Moore article bothers me just because he made the (common) mistake of referring to Hussein as Frankenstein several times--when Frankenstein was the mad scientist, not the monster (Frankenstein\'s monster). He finally gets it right in the last line.

To loosely quote from one of my favourite shows of all time, Red Dwarf, coincidentally in an episode rerun last night--\"It\'s a mistake commonly made by incredibly stupid people everywhere!\"

No offense to Moore, since his points are otherwise very good.

Yeah I don\'t think he\'s read the actual book. Everybody gets Frankenstein & his monster mixed up.

9/11 was the punt, Saddam\'s capture is the half time show, and with two more quarters to go - Armageddon!

What we got here is metaphor for a football game, wrapped around a kafka inspired reality show, stuffed with religious dogma

now, if i was Moore, that\'s how i would of spun Saddam
