    Your so cynical!

My God -- there could be Peace in the Middle East! You don't want the 'peace process' to get derailed with negative talk like that, do you?

Think about what is being achieved -- a single day meeting in the suburbs of Maryland involving upwards of 40 ME countries and groups (except Hamas or Hezbullah)...my God! peace is just around the corner!

...and you'd have us believe that this is some 'spin' leading to yet more genocidal violence against the Palestinians all for the cause of Greater Israel? You probably read some propaganda on the Web about how Israel even as it meets in Jebusland, has turned off electricity to the Gaza Strip again.

What are you saying...they COULD just dust off those Oslo Accords and get Israel to follow them? Are you saying that Israel COULD just get the fuck out of the illegally occupied territories and quit Jerusalem?

No...it's MUCH more complicated than that. There are a LOT of other issues like Israel's security and the fact it's a paranoid ultra-racist state that figures everyone is out to get it and so that's why they HAVE to attack other countries with seemingly NO impediments placed upon it by nations, like Canada, who bore us ALL with their self-righteous claims of upholding international law, UN resolutions and being just 'ever so important' as a diplomatic resource for the world.

Ya sure...next you'll be saying that Israel's refusal to have nuclear inspections should be MORE than enough cause for 'western' nations to sanction them and at least demonstrate that 'western' countries aren't racist hypocritical imperialists that simply USE international law as a club to beat certain nations, while ignoring the much more dangerous and illegal actions of others which technically affect the very being of their own citizens?

Well...I'm breaking out the party hats and getting behind Mr. George Bush for at least trying...

Sorry there Mr.Prax, of course we have to believe Mr. Bush when he says that his Government will help the Palestinians put aside terrorism and live in peace and harmony with their neighbours, the eternal victims. It reminds me of this guy who asks his friend, how do we know when Bush is lying? Answer: his lips are moving. That about sums it up for me.

The current situation in Gaza, Jerusalem, borders, the illegal settlements, the apartheid wall, the right of return, none of these issues that you have to start with before you can even talk of peace and justice for the Palestinian people, weren't even on the table.

No other political issue is treated in such a biased manner as the Palestinian one.

    Thank you Dio.

My education and understanding of this situation has been significantly advanced in hearing this man passionately speak what is obviously the truth.
