Harper Confirms “Scary” Beliefs Of His Past

Posted on Tuesday, January 17 at 09:59 by Kevin Parkinson
1997- “ Canada is a Northern European welfare state in the worse sense of the term and very proud of it.” 1997- “In terms of the unemployed, don’t feel bad for many of these people. They don’t feel bad about it themselves, as long as they’re receiving generous social assistance and unemployment insurance.” 2002- "We also support the exploration of alternative ways to deliver health care……., including those provided by the private sector, a natural development of our health care system." 2002- “I don't know all the facts on Iraq, but I think we should work closely with the Americans." Do you think Harper’s comments reflect the kind of Canada that we want for our children and grandchildren?
