I saw most of this policy reveal and some of the medias questions. I just read what the government has on the website and that is what I would call a wish list or a mission statement. There are NO details.

One reporter asked McLellan about profiling and she said "we do not profile, we are not profiling" or something like that yet they're going to set up a "Cross-Curltural Roundtable on Security" which will involve religious and ethnic groups. What will this be? A group of people we force to compy with us on intellegence from abroad or we deport them? Or people like Chalabi that give us bogus info so we can justify murder? Our own home grown intellegence? What are the details of this? She also said with regards to NOT profiling, that terrorists came in all colours, religions, cultures bla bla bla, and she's more right about that than she likely knows. And this security policy will likely create more.

Also, where's the policies that aid and care for countries that are so frustrated they become terrorists? I guess if we have the US to bomb the bejeezes out of all of them we can be as uncompassionate as we like. la la la la la.

I wish I'd have counted the number of times she said terrorists and "In fact". It's as though she has to qualify everything by starting with "In fact". Well Annie,(hyperventilated breath), in fact, I don't believe all your IN FACTS.

What I don't understand is, what do we do when we need to protect ourselves against the US? There is no provision for this. So, IN FACT, our government in NOT PROTECTING CANADIANS!!!!!

That's not a policy on the website, these are just re-announcements of re-announcements previously announced...
