Vive Facelift

I just turned on the new 'SuperBlue' theme as the default for all users. This theme makes much better use of CSS and smaller HTML, at the same time incorporating more graphics and colours. It shouldn't slow down load times at all, as it's practically the same size as before. The new theme has been tested in Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and IE6 on both linux and Windows XP; it has also been tested in Konqueror, IE5/mac, and Safari.

If you find any bugs or usability issues, please post them here or in the site support forum, being sure to include your Browser and Operating System versions.

Netscape 4.77 is not fully supported; I'm not sure it can be without ruining support for IE. If you can figure out a way to make it work, post a patch and I'll be sure to incorporate it.

I like it too. Blue has always been my favourite colour.

    It's a little <i>too</i> blue for my liking, but that's just me. Looks good!<p>---<br>Ændrew Rininsland<br />

    Couldn't you make it orange?

    (looks sharp though)

Very nice, Jesse! I particularly like the headings in the side columns. It's no longer confusing (to me at any rate) as the headings are well separated from one another. I would have liked a smaller font perhaps in the body of the stories. But that may be just me again. If it does not bother others, I can definitely live with it.

I love it! I didn't know what you were talking about at first, because my default was to the Dynamic form. Changed it today, and I really like the new format, easier to read and clear. Nice job! Thanks

Like catherine I changed my preferances to see what it was all about. Sorry Jessie but in IE5 on my computor the page is so wide that only the righthand 20% shows on screen, not a big deal Im quite happy with the "dynamic" display, just wanted to let you know.

Bah, I was hoping I had fixed that one. Are you on a Mac? (If you're on windows, you should really upgrade). That's a bug that I certainly want to fix, anyway.

Im on windoze 98 / Toshiba 2140 laptop. Yea I know I should update but anytime you change ANYTHING in windoze it seems to be a big risk. I know just enough to be leery and not enough to fix windoze problems. Too many years on DOS I guess!!
