The review was prepared for Public Safety, the RCMP's parent department, and delivered in March. Based on interviews, focus groups, key documents and other data, the study analyzes the effectiveness of the IMET teams over their first two years or so. The teams bring together RCMP officers, civilian experts such as forensic accountants and Justice Department lawyers to nab corporate kleptocrats in a $30 million-a-year initiative.
