School Assault Ignored

She was "apparently chosen because (Muslims) are less likely to report it, because of their strict parents" and cultural taboos, said a source, who added: "It's a series of sexual assaults that have happened at the school in which no action, or little action, was taken to protect the victim." The three administrators were put on "home assignment" on Wednesday after the allegations emerged during an inquiry into conditions at the school following the May shooting death of Grade 9 student Jordan Manners. It is not clear if they will return to work in the fall, although they continue to be paid. Principal Charis Newton-Thompson could not be reached for comment last night, nor could vice-principal Stan Gordon. imarlow@thestar.ca http://www.thestar.com/News/articles/231218

Here is a word for the one labelled Misogynist.
Quite frankly an eye for an eye is just punishment for the rapists
    Or public flogging
    Every anniversary of the incident

Maybe I missed it, but shouldn't the students involved be charged, tried etc.
Besides the teachers being dismissed isn't there a part of our criminal code
called, 'contributing to the negligence of a minor? Would that not fit? Is a child in
school not under the protection of her teachers and the school administrators?
This is obscence being belief! There is a lot more to this story than meets the
eye. If my child was attending that school I would remove them asap. Not only if
it was a daughter but a son also, as I would not want them to be under the
impression that this behaviour is condoned by a school or society at large. I
certainly hope there will be a thorough investigation into this and all involved.
