I would sign but I do not trust commercial websites that offer "free" public services that include collecting all your personal information. Call me paranoid, I've been on the 'net since before html was even invented and "free" things like this have often turned out to be bad ideas.

I'll wait for Vive to put theirs up.

For me the main problem with online petitions is only that the Canadian government still does not recognize them as they do printed and hand-signed petitions. I have personally called the government about this in the past and they confirmed they only accept hand-written signatures. That said online petitions still allow people to demonstrate their opinions on issues to the government (the government is just not bound to take any action as they are if a physical petition is presented by an MP), and also raise awareness about issues.

Our own email form letter is now up, and the background info includes a number of other actions you can also take including phone numbers to call etc.
