It's a rush to the finish on nomination deadline day Conservatives short 14 candidates on early list; Marxist-Leninist Party fields 70

The major parties scrambled to file nomination papers for candidates in all 308 electoral districts before the deadline at 2 p.m. yesterday.

The Conservatives were furthest behind, showing only 294 names for 308 electoral districts on an Elections Canada list of candidates whose nominations had been approved as of 2 p.m.

    Oh, how bloody typical of the mainstream media - not one little mention of the Canadian Action Party - its as though they dont even exist...

    Unfortunately it appears the CAP fell one short of the old marker of 50. Let us hope they do not rewrite the elections laws once again.
