Why Not Form A New Party?

Posted on Wednesday, October 29 at 16:14 by Louis Papineau
All we have now in the way of nationalist alternatives are David Orchard and his loyal progressive Tories and the ridiculous Canadian Action Party, which wants to unite with the NDP! We really need a new progressive, but moral, broadly-based, Canadian nationalist party for 2004. How come Mel Hurtig hasn't restarted the CNP???

As you may know, Mel is very active in promoting Vive le Canada.ca and offers us his expertise, spokesmanship and connections, and he remains on good terms with many current politicos. He has also testified before government on various issues. And of course he is very active as a speaker and writer, which is where I believe he devotes the lion\'s share of his time.

However you can of course ask him yourself by emailing him at mhurtig@telusplanet.net.
