Outstanding! If it comes to pass...

If it does - it will keep Gordos business pals away for awhile anyways - but if they turn it into parks - he has made it clear - \"some people dont like to sleep in tents\" and will build resorts there.

If there was ever a time for Canadians to become pushy - now is the time - for time is running out on this nation called Canada.

The boreal forest is Canada`s Amazon. It is a special place! There`s no need to chop down trees for paper or houses. When I see the parts of the Boreal forest cropping out of the Canadian shield, be it in northern Manitoba or Quebec, I just get all warm and fuzzy! (Yeah, I know, I`m weird in my own way.)

It won\'t be parkland, but it will still severely regulate the industries operating in that area. I think industry should be allowed to work somewhere, but everything has to be environment-friendly. They should leave no tracks when they\'re done whatever.

Wow. Sounds like the protection that happened in B.C., protecting much of the mainland, Great Bear Rainforest, now that Vancouver Island has turned to crap....I\'ll believe it when i see it......reminds me of the cynical, un-enforced \"Living Legacy\" by Mike Harris Tories in Ontario, protecting 3.6 million, mostly northern hectares. from everything......but mining, ATVs, logging, and sex.

The Harris Tories have decimated Ontario in more ways than one! One that really makes me ill is this: My mother drove out to Alberta and drove back home this past summer. She said along highway 17 from Kenora to Thunder Bay, the forest has been pretty much clearcut! Harris was a PIG! Just imagine, his first education minister, John Snobelen, was a high school DROP OUT! This was the knid of mentality that governed the \'common sense revolution.\'

want to save the forest? then take away the market for its products. You can do that different ways. One way is to convince people to use alternatives. Instead of paper, store media on computer hard drives, instead of tissue for blowing your nose, use a hanky. etc, etc, you get the idea.

Anyone who watches television or listens to the radio can easily be convinced or manipulated to buy a product or believe in any propaganda. Through the use sound and light folks are hypnotised to buy the message. The whole system would fall apart if people stopped listening/watching the radio/tv. First protect yourself from subliminal messages, then protecting the forests becomes easier.
