Canadian Sovereignty Meetup Days

All you need to do to take part is sign up (free) at http://canadiansov.meetup.com (or see the permanent block on the left). You get to vote on the place for the meeting and you'll be notified by email when there's a meeting coming up near you.

We chose the topic of Canadian sovereignty rather than just Vive le Canada since that lets us keep the meetups open to anyone else who cares about these issues too, such as people from the Council of Canadians, or readers of Mel Hurtig's books, or members of Canadian Democratic Movement, etc.

Meetups can be very informal or you can use the time to plan actions. This is a great way to grab a few beers and have a good conversation once a month with other people who care about Canadian issues as much as you do. This is also a great way for us to build momentum for the movement to save Canada from corporate globalization and Americanization, because it helps us link up with each other and build community.

Check it out, and enjoy!

- Susan
