If Fox news becomes the 1# news source in Canada. That will just give me less hope of Canada's future. I don't agree with a Liberal slanted media, but I don't agree with a Conservative slanted media. Why can't we just truly have a balanced news source. Maybe its not possible.

One day soon, I really hope the american people wake up, and then we will see O'Rielly dragged out into the street and shot, much like Yasser Arafats brother, for being a corrupt deceptive bastard.

O' Reilly is such an ass. The right-wing is full of sexual predators (O' Reilly) and junkies (Limbaugh) and they have the audacity to pontificate from some high horse.
<br />
"...Nor is it clear if the Canadian military would be able to render effective assistance if called upon to do so. Case in point: the naval task group sent from Halifax to join relief efforts in Louisiana does not include the one vessel most suited to relief operations. The 35-year-old supply ship HMCS Preserver, veteran of the 1991 Hurricane Andrew relief mission in Florida, recently failed post-refit trials and is not considered seaworthy. Its absence from the scene has gone largely unnoticed by the public, and neither the navy nor the government have been eager to advertise this shortcoming..."<br />

The USA is a Nation of 2 faced twits. One had they talk about how they are the most powerful country in the world, and now they are grabbing their ankles because they know they are over stretched with the war in Iraq.
I think the USA is a fukkin' joke.
Canada sells it's oil to the USA and then buys the refined gasoline back at higher prices. They should halt all Canadian resources to the U.S. and find new markets in Asia, Russia and fukk the U.S.
Keep Canadian resources for Canadian first.

<br />
Dear Mr. Reilly, <br />
<br />
Your attacks on Canada for not providing aid to the "richest country in the world," and supposedly "the most powerful," is a little confusing. <br />
<br />
Canada is sending 1000's of Canadian Forces, war ships, water purification, medical supplies and food aid to the gulf region. Also, Canadian citizens are opening their pocket books and donating to the Canadian Red Cross in record numbers. <br />
<br />
We are providing aid. <br />
<br />
Nevertheless, why should Canada or any nation be offering up assistance to the United States at this point. If it were not for the war in Iraq taxing your budget and military, the United States would not need the aid from foreign nations. <br />
<br />
Take responsibility for your own short falls as a nation, you are starting to sound like one of those Liberal Hippie Welfare Grabbing Democrats at the New York Times you so often lambaste on your program who are quick to blame everyone else for their own problems. <br />
<br />
Sincerely,<br />
<br />
- Max<br />
