Siddiqui again makes a lot of specious claims, his regular rant against George Bush and the Americans, but why not take just the one that has some basis in fact - the pricetag for Iraq. $145 Billion - but wait! Aren't the Americans reaping huge profits from Iraq? Why mention that it's costing the U.S. money? because that's how he wants to attack them today and tomorrow's article will be on how they're reaping huge profits and so they'll attack the U.S. on that tomorrow. How do such 'esteemed' editorialists reconcile these inconsistencies from day to day? it's schizophrenic.

Truth is, the war is costing the US and Iraq young lives, and the taxpayers far too much, only to fill the pockets and coffers of executives at companies like Exxon-Mobil and Halliburton.
