The "Waiting For Martin" Film Tour

WAITING FOR MARTIN is a hilarious one hour documentary film by Sophia Southam and Magnus Isacsson that explodes the Paul Martin myth by following the zany antics and publicity stunts of the social activist David Bernans who runs for the NDP in Paul Martin's Montreal riding. In a nutshell, it can be described as a Canadian ROGER AND ME (by Michael Moore) where Martin is "Roger" and Bernans is "me".

The WAITING FOR MARTIN cross-Canada tour will be happening over the course of April 2004 (just before the expected federal election call). We want to bring the film to your hometown, but to do this we need your help. It's as simple as getting together with a few friends at your local student association, labour union local, district labour council, citizens group, church group or whatever. All your group needs to do is book a room with a video projector and arrange a date with the WAITING FOR MARTIN tour organizer (who also happens to be the star of the film and the charismatic speaker who will be on tour in April).
