BC Conservative Caucus Says NDP MPs Don't Cut It!

Posted on Saturday, August 25 at 19:04 by Rural
Harris said, “As Chairman of the BC Caucus of Conservative MPs, I am pleased that Sharon has accepted this role, and I know the constituents of Skeena-Bulkley Valley will derive a huge benefit from having direct contact with government, something that they have not had since 2004. I and other BC Conservative MPs will work closely with Sharon Smith as she represents constituents of her riding to the government members. It will be a bonus for people of Skeena-Bulkley Valley to have direct representation to the government on so many issues,” continued Harris Harris concluded, “Having an MP from the fourth party in the House just doesn’t cut it when it comes to actually getting things done for the folks in Skeena-Bulkley Valley . Sharon Smith with her direct government contact will ensure that things DO get done. The Terrace water infrastructure, Smithers Airport expansion, and Houston event center’s new “green” system are just a few examples of what can be accomplished when you have a direct link to government”. http://www.terracedaily.ca/cgi-bin/show_sitemap_article.cgi?ID=954 I could not believe this when I read it but a little searching seems to indicate that this is legitimate. For any MP, let alone one from a party that carefully scripts almost everything its MPs issues, to say “Having an MP from the fourth party in the House just doesn’t cut it” is so dismissive of our democracy that I am almost speechless. The only thing genuine about and descriptive of Dick Harris is his nomeclature of "dick".

When the Cariboo-Chilcotin riding was abolished we inherited that warmed over Reform fossil, now re-elected in 4 good, solid union towns, Prince George, Quesnel, Williams Lake and 100 Mile House.

The man is a hopeless and useless dick and I'm not the least bit surprised about this letter, which may have his signature, but obviously has been cooked up by the Party's PR hacks to show people that unless they get into the fold, they won't get nuthin'.

The Reform Party is alive and well, with a new "great" leader and people of the West still fall for its con job.

Wow. Sneaky. Portray the elected MP as not having a direct line to government because he's in an opposition party, while portraying someone with no right to be any sort of elected representative and no power at all within government as the most effective, rightful representative of the electorate...this is a new low in political games.
