"failed or poorly managed programs, cost overruns, overpayments and other failures"
& that doesn't happen in the private sector? I wonder what he thinks of the disgusting salaries of CEOs of major corporations vs the salary of an MP or public servant for example. & what about what corporations do with "our" money? I wonder if this guy has even heard of Conrad Black?

Waste is inherent to government? So is corruption. Talk about covering your ass.

Another corporately funded organization, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, claimed last January that between 1982 and 2005: "Ottawa authorized $18.4 billion in grants and loans to various companies and organizations. Of this , only $7.1 billion was repayable. However, to date, less than $1.3 billion has been repayed to taxpayers."

Of this $18.4 billion, about $10. billion was free money in grants etc. to some of the biggest and richest corporations and executives in the country, while minimum wages remain stagnant.

I've worked, as a contractor, with big companies, for 22 years in Vancouver and the corruption I've witnessed even 30 years ago, was unbelievable.

The Fraser Inst. alone is the recipient of fraudulent donations as a "charitable institution" with $25.000/yr. tax deductible memberships.

At least government is accountable to a certain degree, but who in hell can hold multinationals accountable, even on their true finances with monies freely flowing into tax havens, out of the control of any examiners and then anybody who complains, is slapped with lawsuits for defamation.

I've never built any "hospitality suites" for the use by call girls and executives for government, but have for corporations where all the girls, the furniture, maintenance, the fancy foods and appointments were "tax deductible business expenses".

Ask the Fraser Inst. about that and receive dead silence.

Our corporate masters will not be satisfied until they have taken over to the point where they can be open about their agendas and turn the houses of parliment into corporate head-quarters
