Considering how involved the CIA is in these \"uncooperative\" countries, (look at coup in Venezuala), it\'s probably a very good idea and yes Canada could be doing the same.

Let them fingerprint foreign nationals - it will mean a tourist boom for Canada. I have read opinion columns, internet postings and discussion groups around this issue from end of the net to the other and while some support it - most do not. And those that are just tourists the common approach seems to be - \'why vacation in the US when we can go to Canada for cheaper without the harassment?\'.

If that attitude holds, it works in our favour.

Fingerprinting and taking mugshots will not stop terrorism. They will find another way in. 1000\'s of mexicans cross each day - what would stop Osamas boys from doing the same?

If there was ever a time for Canadians to become pushy - now is the time - for time is running out on this nation called Canada.
