This brings back memories of the 1983 Tory convention where Mulroney was elected as leader. According to stories circulating at the time, even detailed in a book, unfortunately I can't remember either the title, or the author's name, on the dirty tricks pulled by Mulroney and how he broke all the rules on finances to get elected.

Now add to this present story, then the Mackay tricks, etc. etc. and we have a party in power, set for majority government, that can not be trusted to predict the time of day at 2 pm, this afternoon.

Of course, Harper is a neoclassical economist and two of those warped minds couldn't agree on the same time either, but both of them could prove mathematically that it will either be 1:38 pm, or 3:19 pm, or whatever a multinational corporation pays for.

So much for a Tory majority government and we can kiss Canada goodbye.

Considering that Harper and Mulroney are fast friends, is it any real surprise that the current *CEO of Canada would stoop to using the same bag of tricks as his mentor?

Once more, the unimpeachable ethics of the Conservative Party have risen to the top, much like the slime that runs aforementioned political party.

This Canada Day let's be thankful that we have such an upstanding party to replace the awful one before it.

Oh yeah - if JPK speaks up, you know it is a serious matter. Open the books Cons if you are so convinced you did nothing wrong!
