Belinda Stronach, Advertising And Politics

Posted on Monday, March 08 at 17:11 by KevinGagnon

For example. Big companies who can afford big ads distribute more and become big brand names. Smaller companies don't have the same luxurary. So in this case she is branding her name cause she has the money to advertise it make a brand name of her name.

Its also important to note big companies/big ads no matter how unhealthy their product may be, will still sell products and do harm to the consumer. Just like no matter how corrupted or what corruption is behind Belinda (Mulroney), voters will still be decieved into voting without realizing that when they vote for Belinda they are actually voting for the annexation of Canada.

I guess it would help if she would stop using the words "more integration with the U.S" and just came straight out and said she really means the annexation of Canada.

Take away the money and her support would not be where it is.

Take away the money and we wouldn't even know her name. Mulroney and Harris wouldn't be too interested either.

Money says it all in politics. Dubya will no doubt gather more than $200 million this time around from his corporate buddies.

It is an absolute crime that politicians can buy their way into power.

I honestly can't believe that anyone would consider voting for someone who has noooooo political background whatsoever to possibly become the next prime-minister? It is ludicrous...I mean sure run as a candidate, see if you have what it takes, a few years communicating with your constituents then sure throw your name in for the leadership, but really just come from three years running Daddy's co. and then say I wanna be prime-minister,,,no no
and it isn't because she is a woman, it is because 3 yrs running a billion dollar co. which has been running for eons, doesn't prove much, I mean a co. like that could virtually run itself for 3 years, and her father isn't out of the picture, so was she solo in that corporation, I think not. But when you see who is behind her, you realize that no experience is necessary, she will be a puppet at best, a figurehead, so why would anyone vote for her???

Did you see the post "Boss urges Magna workers to back Stronach" I posted Feb.28/04? Pretty bad.

I saw Belinda Stronach and Monia Mazigh both interviewed on "Politics" and the difference was like night and day. Stronach was very defensive, petulant and childish while Monia who is 34 years old seemed so much more sure of who she is, genuine, and far more mature. Her answeres to the media made the media sound jaded by the politicians they're used to dealing with. I think she threw them for a loop with her honesty and trust in what she was doing was the right thing. For me, it says a lot about her that she chose the NDP over the Liberals.

I can agree Monia is better, but please come on running for MP just because you're a celebrity(talking about Monia).

    Anon,

I didn't realize she was a celebrity. I don't think she is even aware of it. I guess she should be on entertainement tonight soon then ;-)
