Information Cleansing, Canadian Style

Harper's skepticism about global warming seems in line with the position of Pres. Bush, who has repeatedly claimed that the "jury is still out" on the issue. The prime minister has himself questioned the science of climate change, calling it a "controversial hypothesis." His former environment critic, Bob Mills, has described the Kyoto Protocol, the international agreement to address climate change, which had been ratified by Canada's parliament during the previous government, "a great socialist plot." According to a statement issued in late July by the Liberal Party, the Harper team "is engaging in revisionist science by systematically removing references to climate change from government websites." http://www.dissidentvoice.org/Aug06/Berkowitz18.htm [Proofreader's note: this article was edited for spelling and typos on August 21, 2006]

According to the Nazi's in Germany, slavs weren't real humans either, and neither were a lot of other "inferior races".

Harper and his cronies look to be using the same politically directed psuedo-science that Hitler and his gang used to justify their own "cleansing" agenda.

Nice to see that Harper and company treat truth and established facts with the same thoroughness as their fascist/nazi predecessors back in the 1930's and 1940's.

Unfortunatly, Bush and Harper are just continuing the trend. As one gets older, the evidence comes too often. Through out life, personal freedoms become less. "Politcaly correct" has been one tag used that enabled the average person to jump on the bandwagon.Unwittingly, we embrace "the facts" as we are given and yet don't question them because of the way we were introduced to "the facts". Even on this blog we read "facts" as given and gradualy except without question. It's no longer the lack of knowledge but the acceptance of what is given as "knowledge". Great politcans know it's not "what" they tell you as to "how", inorder to make it acceptable. Bush and Blair aren't great politcans as they failed to convince the majority. Harper is unwise to not have seen it from the beginning. Propaganda works on both sides and as you get older you can see the same old thing as new again. The word "no" in politics, just means that a different format is to be used for the results desired. Eg: everyone knows what "FU" means but it's acceptable the way I introduced it rather then print the actual words.

Out of sight - out of mind. If Harper doesn't acknowledge the threat global warming is posing to life on this planet, then the guy doesn't give a damn about his children or anyone else's for that matter. Quite understandable, since he is nothing more than a political puppet, who has been put in place for the destruction of Canadian values.

Secondly, most North Americans are too stupid, ignorant, complacent and lazy to realize they are being scammed big time by a self-serving Government. Deceit, corruption and hypocrisy are the main qualities for politicans these days.

Truth and morality are selling points for the masses/suckers, who actually believe that such qualities in powerful people actually exist.
