Three Cases Of Forgetting

Posted on Saturday, March 27 at 17:33 by 4Canada
That Peter MacKay solemnly pledged there would be no merger between his party and the Canadian Alliance of Stephen Harper. It was a bold move. Then he broke his word, with no qualms, as if that were normal practice. No, it can't be him. Or he'd look at least a tad embarrassed when he says things like: "When will the Prime Minister simply keep his word..?"

This is what bugs me about the corporate media: they publish so much nonsense, then they come out with a gem......if we had an entire paper in Canada like this article, we'd be getting somewhere. Of course, no reporters have enough of a spine to corner Peter Mackay. It would be lovely if this nonsensical, phony "Objectivity" disappeared from even the CBC.

(As Rick Mercer said in his Monday Report season finale tonight, "Peter Gzowski was the only lefty at the CBC.)

I have to disagree with Rich Salutin's remark about Peter MacKay being a "pleasant looking man". I think he looks exactly like who he is, a Mulroney clone.

And I loved the line he gave Paul Martin "I'm mad as hell at me, and I'm fired!" There's a whole lot of people around Ottawa that should be saying that.
