The survey responses for the provincial economy were even more impressive, with 89 per cent of members expecting increased economic activity.
"There has been huge increases (in optimism) over the last few years, particularly over the last year," Hopkins added.
The optimism is however weighed down with the concern over labour.
The labour shortage issue was a new addition to the topics covered in the survey this year. It also came up numerous times throughout the results.
