Passport Issue A Big Smokescreen

Posted on Tuesday, March 13 at 08:36 by Kevin Parkinson
On the other hand, the premiers from Ontario, Manitoba and New Brunswick will be making a presentation in Washington to promote the use of driving licences with enhanced security capability instead of passports. The Americans themselves are waffling on the passport issue. Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff has indicated that he is open to options such as driving licences instead of the passport requirement. They are conducting a pilot project in the state of Washington using licenses. To understand fully what is happening at this juncture, we need to look at the big picture that our governments have in store for us. www.realitycheck.typepad.com

It should be quite obvious that this passport issue is a PR gimmick to force Canadians to beg for "deep integration" and "open borders", so they can go shopping.

The article features the photo of John Manley, one of the most pathetic characters who ever darkened our political scene.

A totally bought and strung up corporate puppet, who was also responsible for the attempted forcing of the 1995-96 Multilateral Agreement on Investment, the MAI, on Canada.

I used to call him "Competition John", because whenever he darkened our TV screen, in his ministerial days, the word "competition" always was included in every sentence he spoke.

Of course, our new dictators now are supposed to be the North American Competitiveness Council, so Johnny must be in
    masochist heaven.

Yes, that's the obvious conclusion. All we'll need to do is agree to become a citizen of the NAU by providing a sample of our DNA for a NAU passport (aka national id card) and submit to a background check for "security reasons".

What's not being mentioned, is that not everyone will be included in the NAU. The overlords still need "illegal" workers to do the dirty work for dirt cheap pay.

What they fear is a popular rebellion, but will that ever happen? Not if we continue to be well fed on a bottomless diet of mindless TV, cheap sugar, and Zero Trans Fats®.

People who attempt to resist the forthcoming Big Brother ID card and database system in the UK will never be able to leave the country according to the Government official in charge of the scheme.

As the UK Daily Mail reported last weekend:

James Hall, the official in charge of the supposedly-voluntary scheme, said the Government would allow people to opt out - but in return they must "forgo the ability" to have a travel document.

As of 2009 anyone who applies for a passport in Britain will also be issued with an ID card, for which they must also provide fingerprints, biometric details such as a facial scan and a wealth of personal details - including second homes, driving licence and insurance numbers.
True, but if one follows the links to the Daily Mail or just follows the link I provide below to the same site, they wil see that the Tories claim they would trash the act if they win the next general election.

of course, we would have to see if they follow through assuming they win.
