"We are going to show immediate action on every important theme that Paul has addressed over the past year," said an adviser.

The goal will be to depict Martin as an agent of change, not just the head of a Liberal government in its 10th year seeking a fourth consecutive mandate from voters.

Spending cuts = tax cuts for the rich/corporations/assorted elitists.

Now, is anyone really surprised? After all Martin as Finance Minister trimmed tens of billions from social spending at the behest of the IMF and WTO.

    Once an anti-Canadian - always an anti-Canadian.

This is what Reagan/Bush I/Bush II sort of did to wipe out social programs. Martin knows the Liberals won\'t get in by just saying that he\'ll wipe out every social program, so he says \"look at this deficit, we can\'t do this\" & does it under the guise of \'responsible spending\' or something like that.

    How about this line:
The spending cuts will be part of an initial burst of 100 days of action that the former finance minister is planning in an effort to draw a clear distinction between his government and that of current Prime Minister Jean Chretien.

Hello CP - that government belongs to us the Canadian people, NOT Paul Martin!

---
If there was ever a time for Canadians to become pushy - now is the time - for time is running out on this nation called Canada.

Hmmm... 100 days of action. Wasn\'t that the BC Liberals\' idea?
100 days of action, so after the initial shock and awe had worn off,
everything gutted, union contracts broken, services a shambles,
they could spend the rest of their 4 year term trying to make people
forget so they could get re-elected? Wait, no, the Liberals did it in
90 days, but then again, they were elected, unlike Martin\'s gonna
    be.

Martin is an agent of \'change\' because when Martin`s committment to globalization is realized and the bulk of Canadians lose their jobs, we`ll be standing on the street corner saying,\"Hey, Martin, got any change?\"
