I am more likely to post:
1) pieces that are relevant to Canadian sovereignty, globalization or Canada-US relations
2) original work (writing or images) or posts that summarize an article or mention several other articles/events/news with links but include a person's own opinions (ie blog style) rather than just straight-up recycled news
Things I'm more likely to delete include:
1) News that is totally off topic and not relevant to the site
2) Full copies of articles from elsewhere, especially without links (this is just infringement on copyright--and I may not always have time to find the relevant link myself)
3) As always, things that are racist, use a lot of foul language etc
If you submit something and it isn't posted, please feel free to try again keeping these guidelines in mind. Especially since I'm not perfect and I may miss things from time to time.
Also, if you don't know HTML that's fine, I can always format links etc for you if you just copy-and-paste them into your submission. But of course it makes my job easier when people submit things with links with HTML already done.
And I reserve the right to edit for language and grammar where necessary, but well-written stuff will always take precedence.
Don't forget, you can submit interesting links or events (see our calendar) as well.
For more guidelines on posting (including how to submit artwork) please see the site FAQ.
Thanks again everyone and keep up the posts!
