Skip Sears points out that you can watch the excellent lecture Lewis Lapham gave in Toronto last March by going to http://www.vicu.utoronto.ca/alumni/davey.htm

Jacki Silkweb has pointed out what appears to be an excellent website where you can quickly see how the Democratic candidates for president in the U.S. stand on a bunch if issues such as abortion, free trade health care, Iraq etc. Compare, for example, Clark and Dean, etc. If interested go to http://www.issues2000.org/Wesley_Clark.htm

It seems that Dean has come out swinging regarding deregulation, and says he will re-regulate some industries if he is elected.

I\'m leaning toward Dennis Kucinich, even though he hasn\'t got the financing. At least he would kill NAFTA, and I love the idea that he would cut the Pentagon budget by 15%. That\'s a lot of cash, but alas, won\'t happen.

Clark is still a deregulator, so that\'s that for him. He considers Dean\'s position ridiculous.
