    Now here's a cause I can get behind. I personally think the government should be using nothing but open source software. I think people on this site are really grabbing at straws trying all these different angles for reasons to boycott the census. Who knows, I might boycott it yet. I'll just sit here at home, using my open source software, while sipping a tall cool glass of Mountain Crest beer. :-)

    As a Canadian living overseas and a confirmed user of both Linux and Firefox and refusing to let my computer be compromised by the slack security of IE I guess I have no choice but to boycott this census.

    Having worked for Bell Canada in the past I can understand the comments that came from that source but as a (former) active participant in the democratic process I don't understand how this can be allowed to happen without much of an outcry.
