But as the lone protester I was out numbered a hundred to one by NATO leaders and several hundred to one by security people. So I do hope they felt my displeasure in despoiling our beautiful city with their presence. This is the bunch that bombed Serbia with 23000 bombs and 400 cruise missiles with 13 NATO countries out of the 19 taking part.
This enormous crime has gone unpunished, yet these war criminals are here in town;
Possibly a victory celebration of their great success in Afghanistan. In 1999 the bumper opium crop totaled 4000 metric tons. By February 2001 the Taliban had outlawed poppy growing and the acreage of poppies grown was zero. Six years later under the supervision of NATO forces this dismal record has been turned around and this year’s crop is estimated at 8,200 metric tons, up from 6,000 metric tons last year, way to go NATO.

That was Friday, September the 7th about 1:30 in the afternoon.
I was also at the main protest on Saturday,
which was better attended.
