Canadian Political Corruption

Posted on Wednesday, October 20 at 10:34 by shamus11
These are the folk who gave the vote to pedophiles in jail, And then arranged for their early release on bail, And all those missing millions and billions not found, In APEC and Shawinigate and HRDC confound. Somalia and Airbus inquiries disappeared, Given time the Liberals knew that nothing should be feared, Their ethical appointees in the proper places, Corruption would disappear without any traces. We got what we deserve from these lying politicians, Except Quebec got more in their certain conditions, And then they stuck bilingualism down our throats, Multiculturalism too till we were ready to choke. Not mere millions in those Adscam manipulations, Who got the billions in all those corrupt complications? Lined their pockets, those covert folk that we don’t know, How and where could they even spend all our dough? Tuesday, October 19, 2004 http://jamesbredin0.tripod.com/numberthirteen/

Pretty good poem for the most part, but bilingualism wasn`t rammed down anyone`s throat. Nobody forces anyone to be bilingual. And multiculturalism isn`t bad, It`s been manipulated by (dare I say again) the forces that seek to divide and conquer so that it appears bad.

    Minority Canadian Government

An Ottawa pomp and circumstances throne speech,
A public make-believe embarrassment for us meek,
Didn’t select her and can’t get rid of him or him,
The Access Act hides when or if they’re out on a limb.

Can’t vote our prime minister in or out of his job,
He is selected by his own Liberal mob,
But you didn’t know and no one told you so it’s okay,
Please do not cause a disturbance or disobey.

Read the newspapers with pumped out propaganda,
Never think or make a comment about their agenda,
We’ve got the CBC, CRTC and they take care,
Add left wing politicians and we have a nightmare.

This mincing minority that wants to stay for ever,
Stuck in the status quo pretending to be clever,
Refuse referendums, recall or term restrictions,
    Scared of proportional representation evictions.

Chosen senators, governor generals and judges,
And the ethics guy too with secret nods and nudges,
But we’re the greatest in the world or so we’re told,
Stuck in the status quo deep in their Liberal mould.

When the people are afraid of the government, we have tyranny.
When the government is afraid of the people, we have liberty.

Wow, you are so wrong! Bilingualism WAS forced down my throat, just as it's being forced down my sons throat today at school. I think it's safe to assume that greater than 90% of students here will never use French after leaving school....what an utter waste of time!! I would have preferred studying a language other than French were I given the choice..but of course, choice was and is never an option.

You are equally out of touch with multiculturalism...so much so, that I cannot even begin a reply. Try to enlighten yourself (i.e. look around you ) before you make such ridiculous assertions.
