'One Huge US Jail'

Posted on Tuesday, March 22 at 09:58 by Anonymous
Mohammed received a letter from the Afghan police: "We apologise to you," the police chief wrote. "An innocent was killed by Americans." The US army declined to comment on Ismail's death or on a second fatal shooting by another prison transport at the same crossroads later that month. It also refused to comment on an incident outside Kabul when a prison patrol reportedly cleared a crowd of children by throwing a grenade into their midst. However, we have since heard that the CIA's inspector general is investigating at least eight serious incidents, including two deaths in custody, following complaints by agents about the activities of their military colleagues. Thanks Vive for posting this. This is a great in depth look at just what America is doing in response to 3000 dead. They have created a military monster that has gone far and above and rational reaction to a small band of terrorists. They have created a world wide system of jails and torture.

The very second Canada joins this we lose 50 years of hard work in the eyes of the world. Tom "the traitor" D'Quino and his band of corporate thieves want to jump on board this runaway train at all costs.

    We MUST stop them.

One question. Are there any Canadaian soldiers involved with this garbage?

  5. Wed Mar 23, 2005 1:44 am
    1) Really??? There ARE such things as Canadian soldiers ???
    2) Anyone here actually KNOW anyone in/or anything aboot Afghanistan ???
    3) Did anyone here bother to do any real investigating of their own if they DIDN'T know anything ???
    4) How many here have ever actually DONE anything (other than hyper-ventilate and piss all over themselves and a web page in the process) to accomplish anything good in the world for anyone else ???
    5) How many here went to either Afghanistan, or Iraq and put our actual physical persons in harms way on behalf of those we herein profess to care so much aboot ???
    6) How many here sacrificed even a little bit of their monetary wealth to rebuild, and/or help either Afghanistanis, or Iraqis to recooperate and recover from the devastation they suffered after we were too gutless to risk our own personal, hypocritical necks all the while gleefully cheering THEM on to fight those "evil Americans" to the death ???
    7) How many here supported anyone in doing ANYTHING significant in this world no matter WHOSE side ???

Yeah...we all know the answer to those 7 questions don't we...thank God for those good morals, and high ideals of yours...looks like we have been aboot as good "friends" to the Afghans, and the Iraqis as we have been to those poor bastard Americans that stupidly trusted us...yes, as a people we are aboot as worthless as you can get...all puff and smoke (like our national cannibis pastime) and not much else...small wonder that we are considered insignificant and irrelevant, and are ignored completely by the rest of the world. But for some reason we keep on insisting for all to hear that we are somehow better than ALL of them, and we keep holding out our petite, begging, little hands at the same time for their charity as well...go figure...national pride is nothing but a Canadian PIPE dream isn't it...someone on this site said "Cana-duh" if I remember correctly...they might have a point after reading what you phrrrreaks have posted here...

Hey, sh*t for brains. This article talks about people torturing other human beings. If we use common sense here, most of the worlds people, the majority, are not disturbed individuals who go around murdering and torturing people for their own evil agenda. If I am someone(and I am not) who does not mind torturing or encourages the torture of someone else that means I am a mentally disturbed evil person. This applies to any individual from any part of the world, forget about what country you come from, this comes down to an individual level. There is a small evil demented minority on this planet that cause all the problems in the world from famine, wars, torture etc. If you get rid of this evil minority, wherever they come from, the world will be a better place. And yes, this evil minority are the ones in power, throughout the world, because this is what evil seeks out. Power. nothing else matters to them only there own evil gratification.

sooo..it looks like your answer to all 7 questions was "not me"...because you are correct about one thing...it comes down to an individual level...the world is made a better place for all by the actions of each and every one of us...one person at a time...and then many together. But it starts with one...then another, and then another...someone has to have enough courage and enough compassion for others to step forward, and DO SOMETHING as opposed to flatulently hypothesizing to everyone who IS doing something or HAS done something. More action, less talk maple boy...if you care aboot the people you mention get off your hypocritical arse end and do something aboot it...spent a little time dodging dangerous, noisy, flying things trying to HELP others in my time (not that I deserve any medals, as I was scared sh**tless)...I'm just an old, tired, used up fart now who can only do as you do...talk aboot it...but even if I failed in my time of being able, I tried while I could...people stood up for and cared aboot each other back then...and we'd put our money and/or our a** where our mouth was...where it was needed. You are indeed correct maple boy...it DOES come down to the individual. Canada needs some of those kind of individuals, or it will matter not what happens to anyone ANYWHERE in the world...it'll merely be entertaining discussion on some webpage somewhere for some kid with no balls, no morals, and hyperactive fingers. Yes, sonny boy...me and mine DO appear to have "sh** for brains" as you say...to think we could have made a difference in this world if it were to be turned over to the likes of YOU to protect and maintain until it became the next generation's turn...hopefully there'll be something left for them after you're done "standing up" for those who need you. I hope I'm very, very wrong...

I've personally never done much for Afghans or Iraqis, primarily because if you check, virtually all the charity's associated with the area have been labelled terrorist and are not available.

I've also never done much for the Burmese, people who are treated horribly, partly in thanks to generous canadian mining companies and the folks at Power corporation.

Likewise I've never done much for Rwandans or South Africans.

Is there somewhere on those lines that dictate that I therefore can't read or write to criticize somebody who does the opposite of nothing, who commits terrible acts of genocide? The article above is meant to serve the same purpose that many stories on here serve, and that is to provide a voice to those who have been silenced by corporate media. To show what is really going on. Do we criticize a Ukrainian writer for not covering Haiti? There are canadians in Afghanistan, which is why it's important to get this out, should the world ever turn these soldiers could be brought up on charges, typically ones more aggregious than what many a german was hung for at Nuremburg. We DON'T know enough about Afghanistan, which is why stories such as this are so important. That's what news is, and to try to insult somebody for trying to be informed by making up straw men hardly seems worth the effort. Having stories like this in fact remedies those charges you make, they make people informed, which is a requisite for being involved. By trying to slander it, you merely exacerbate the problems you've indicated.

so action, any action, even if it's torturing and murdering innocents is better than being inactive. What law of physics do you subscribe to? Evil torturing and murdering morons in motion must remain in motion? You need some serious fucking help my friend. Hero biscuits don't go to people who forsake humanity, and embrace evil. It takes a much bigger set of shoes to step back and say "No". My guess is you'd never fill those shoes.

  10. Wed Mar 23, 2005 5:16 pm
it takes a set of balls to go DO SOMETHING to stop things like torture and murder my hyperintelligent friend. Stick with your keyboard and vaseline...that might be something you actually care aboot...

Time to put up or shut up troll. Click on my name to answer your seven questions.

And your own response to your seven questions will go something like: "I beak off about it on the Intarweb".

Why do you keep coming here anyway? You haven't made one single post that contributes to any discussion, and all you seem to to is denegrate your fellow countrymen as 'pot smoking liberal canuckistanis'. And who can forget your "Canada forever, Comrades" posts.

If you want to be an American, move to Jesusland already. I'll even buy you bus fare to the border.

You know, I've got no balls, so my brain will have to do instead, I guess we use what we can. Torturing and murdering, to stop torturing and murdering, I see the rationale now, how curious. No thanks on the Vasoline though. Vasoline is a petroleum product, and we all know where that road leads. Pretty soon were bombing the shit out of innocent civllians and asking American youth to pick up guns and ordering them to behave in morally bankrupt and godless ways. Like I said, I'll pass.

  13. Wed Mar 23, 2005 7:51 pm
It is obvious you have no balls and most likely no brains.

An apology is in order on my part. I must admit in a moment of anger arising from the frustration of people not getting the point I was trying to make (missing it altogther for whatever reason...choosing to read into it what they wanted to - as opposed to what is obvious and there for all to see). Anyway, it was wrong of me to use a reference to "balls"...very sexist...courage is the correct term...courage can and is a characteristic of both sexes. There are many ways to act in order to help build others up, help another to their feet after they've been knocked down (preferably preventing it in the first place) and to protect others from harm when set upon by bullies. You don't have to kill anyone to do it either. And you most certainly don't give money to killers either. Just stand up and be counted. Join the brotherhood of man (and woman). All I ask is that instead of quoting from a mainstream communist media outlet (as all herein profess to avoid mainstream media like the plague) from the UK, and blindly accepting it as gospel, that maybe we should first attempt to discover the truth for ourselves. And in the event there IS an injustice being done to an innocent person, or group that we DO as much as we can to help alleviate their suffering. I also must apologize for the keyboard/vaseline comment...anger again, and I'm sorry. I guess I'm just a frustrated old geezer that needs to go away quietly into that good night...and leave you young anti-everybodies to your thing. No more stupid tall tales from "straw" men, old guys that have "been there, done that"...oops..forgot...I'm straw...wasn't there, didn't do that...it's cool everybody. It's your forum, and your site, and it was wrong of me to come in from the world outside, and give a viewpoint opposite to your own. I understand the folly of my ways. I also see why there are as few participants as there are. Someone had told me once that like America, we were a free country too and could also express our opinion. Guess to be a Canadian around here I have to look like you, walk like you, and talk like you. Excuse me, please...I'll just be on my way now...try to keep the laughter behind my back down to a dull roar as you congratulate yourselves. I'll learn someday to not have feelings. Goodbye, and happy hate mongoring.

P.S. To Caleb(?) ...wanted to inspire some free, independent thought in what appeared to be a stale old fishtank (but not as stale as I am it appears)...hoped to flip a switch and get people to question the "modern status quo" a tiny bit...and if after being presented with an alternative way of viewing the world, that does NOT include hate as it's main ingredient...everyone were to return to the chanting of their mantras in their dark vive le canada cave..well...so be it. You all are free to have an opinion as much as I am (or thought I was anyway). Didn't click on your name though...something made me a mite suspicious not being a really computer literate person...hope you didn't take offence if it meant something to you. I just wasn't sure what would happen. Not to use my age as a cop out, but I'm not as savvy to the internet and computers as you kids are (or I'm assuming you are). Once again, if I insulted you I am sorry. Not the result I had hoped for. Good luck in whatever it is that you do, so long as it's good for Canada, okay? Peace...(trying to use the lingo...hopefully I didn't butcher it too badly)...
