FDA ANNOUNCES PLAN TO ELIMINATE VITAMIN COMPANIES

http://www.newswithviews.com/Richards/byron36.htm It's good though, that Stephen Harper has "signed onto" the differentials between the United States and Canada, and that he will be defending small business in this country, in accordance with his firm belief in the efficacy of the free market: http://www.vivelecanada.ca/article.php/20070723080436102 And just like beleaguered American cities seeking to skirt around Big Pharma's burdensome lock on drug prices in that country, and contemplating the purchase of much cheaper Canadian product, so too will Mr. Harper encourage Americans to order nutritional supplements from their Canadian friends. After all, we must each of us contribute to the maintenance and defence of democracy in our own unique ways. [Proofreader's note: this article was edited for spelling and typos on July 26, 2007]

Welcome to the industrial collectivization of the North American Soviet Capitalist Republics, coming at us with the SPP.

    "Get big, or get out!"

In the communist Soviets the government owned all businesses, in the capitalist Soviets businesses own all governments.

The funny thing is that the owners and dictators are always the same predator class, under different religious symbols, flags and ideologies.

<p>North American Soviet Capitalist Republics is a bit of a mouthful. Maybe we could pare it down:</p> <B><u>N</u></B> orth <p><B><u>A</u></B> merican</p> <B><u>S</u></B> oviet <p><B><u>Ca</u></B> pitalist</p> <B><u>R</u></B> epublics <p><b>N.A.S.Ca.R.</b> ........hmmmm......<b>NASCAR</b>!</p> Somehow very appropriate! After all, NASCAR (the auto race) was started by good ol'boys, was it not? And here we have a bunch of redneck good ol' boys racing to take over everything.............Ya gotta love it!<p>---<br>"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." <br />

Talking about NASCAR, way back in the 60s I was involved in long distance car rallies and did 5 Shell 4000 trans Canada rallies.

In 1965, one of the US Big 3 brought one of the then NASCAR biggies by the name of Dave Pearson into the rally, which went from Montreal to Vancouver.

The first night out Pearson went off the road several times and in the morning he quit, announcing: "Ah ain't bustin' mah keester in this heah thing no moah!"

It was OK to go around in circles, but when it came to real driving, and competition, the biggies were "noweah".

In short, David can still beat the stupid power of Goliath if he uses his brains.

Geez Ed, what ever happened to those cross country races? What a way to pull parts of this country together, after watching the Targa Newfoundland rally’s on TV it just increases my desire to visit those great folks out east! Of course it would probably not be “cool” to burn all that gas and add to the greenhouse gas situation but what if it were winner gets there within a set time on the least gas? Some incentive for research and development AND a “Great Canadian Race”? I have seen much in my 60 years or so but your experiences put us all in our place, keep on “throwing your hat in the door” once in a while Ed. (With your time in England you should be familiar with that expression!)
I really wish I believed that in the political arena your words were true and the little guy can win but I just not so sure anymore, I’m starting to get that self sufficient hermit feeling!!
