But throughout the Islamic world there is a deep sense of unfairness about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For example: Iraq ignores a United Nations resolution and gets invaded; Israel ignores every single U.N. resolution that applies to it and gets everything it wants. Bush is too incurious to notice.

I posted this at smirkingchimp.com and the American readers were hung up on how Gwyn called Bush 'couragous'.

To see a traditionally conservative writer pen such an article is pleasing though. The created aura of Bush is falling apart - and that is a good thing for the world - Canada included.

Its too bad our elections will more than likely be held before theirs - Bush and his extreme far right party and policies are doomed. Our far right party would then not have any mentors to follow.

Yeah, but our eunuch government seems hell bent on kissing up to any US administration.

The infantile ravings of another whining Bush basher using schoolyard name-calling, cute. It certainly exposes media types for what they are, not that it's hard to determine the agenda of Star writers. Canadians should support the first moves toward peace in the middle east to happen in decades, it's about time. Do Canadians really prefer to allow Yasser Arafat to encourage children to strap bombs on their backs in order to kill other children? That policy has widespread support in the Arab and Muslim world but we shouldn't adopt it in some vain attempt at 'multicultural inclusion', it's horrific. The wall has already stopped and will hopefully continue to stop the fanatics from using their children to commit murder. Saddam's gone too and good riddance, he was a threat to his own people, his neighbours and people in other countries through terrorism. The middle east is more stable without him around, not less, despite the inflammatory Al-Jazeera network's ratings drive.

Anon,
Maybe your right. I dought it though.
I would like your comment on this quote from the article.

Is this not an issue alone? And also to think that Bush bashers are "not against terrorism" as you seem to make it sound, is just nonsense.
Kevin

Where do you get your information anon? Fox or CNN?

The middle east is safer after the removal of Saddam? What cloud are you living on?

700 dead americans and terror strikes around the world make that statement look as silly as it sounds.

There has been no better recruiter for 'terra' than George W Bush and his war criminal friend Sharon. THEY are the cause of the problems in the middle east and terrorism is just a response to it. Terror would not even exist there if America and Israel were not screwing them over, assassinating them, stealing land and supporting dictatorships like Saudia Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and the rest of them.

Did you EVER think of that? Or did Fox tell you to think otherwise?

Let me guess - you also think they hate 'our freedoms and democracy' too right?

If there was ever a time for Canadians to become pushy - now is the time - for time is running out on this nation called Canada.

Let me guess - you also think they hate 'our freedoms and democracy' too right?

This idea has already been proven false. When these so called evil doers start letting Canadian hostages go, and other hostages from countries would didn't invade Iraq. It contradicts the "they hate our freedom and democracy" idea that Mr. Bush started to spread around.
Kevin
