I read recently that Hydroelectric power can't be considered 'carbon friendly' as recent studies calculated the carbon and methane released by the trees and vegetation killed by the average dam project is on-par with many natural gas type electrical generators.

Damned if I can find that link again, though.

If BC allows a private company to expropriate land, I fully expect to hear shooting in the street.

Th law of eminent domain has been chucked in the garbage by the US and now we have the first instance of it in Canada. Lets see, five years from now some judge will rule that some little piece of this scam is not acceptable. Wow, what a great system, cheques and balances all over the place.

I had an acquaintance who is ex-Canadian military, who had some handy advice on how to conceal weapons so ground-penetrating radar can't pick them up..............
