Egyptian Paper Reports Tsunami Caused By Israeli-Indian Nuclear Test

Posted on Friday, January 07 at 10:41 by tyrannyresponse
[Edit by Dr.C: Let's just put this rumour to bed, shall we? A 9.0 earthquake is relative to a 475 Megaton Nuclear weapon. There is no such thing. A 10.0 earthquake would crack the planet in half. There have been over 100 aftershocks, nuclear weapons don't cause aftershocks. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqinthenews/2004/usslav/neic_slav_faq.html ]

Yeah, it's probably just the Egyptians running misinformation to take attention away from theiir own nuclear testing in addition to maligning the Americans and Israelis. But that's for readers and mods to decide.

However, in absence of a burden of proof that PROVES earthquakes cannot under any circumstances be deliberately set off, we cannot reject the null hypothesis that they can. Simple logic. We would have heard by now about fishermen at sea giving eyewitness testimonies of a column of smoke in the middle of the ocean.

We should still be concerned about seismic activities in the region because Indonesia constitutes a firebelt of volcanoes. That could be more devastating.

True. To ignore the possibility that they can't is to create a self induced fallicy.

But if you read the bottom of the article, you'll notice the same paper published an article titled 'Jewish matza is made from Arab blood'. I wonder if they found Elvis yet. ;)

The Israelis are just a cover. It was the Americans. It always is. Every time.

Canadians are asking, why do americans hate us? They hate our freedoms: our freedom of religion, our freedom of speech, our freedom to disagree with each other.

While educated Westerners can see the foolishness in such stories, the Arab/Islamic press keep pumping out this insane stuff. Is it simply tabloid journalism, or worse, are these people really that backward and superstitious that they believe this stuff -

    - unfortunately judging from Arab/Islamic actions it appears as though they do believe in any fantasy where they themselves are portrayed as victims. This is no way to build a future for themselves, a culture of grievance and victimhood will remain backward looking and brew all sorts of nastiness.

The same can be said of the US; try having any discussion about international politics and you will inevitably hear cries of "9/11!".

Americans backward looking? hello! their patent office is the busiest place in the world and they pick up Nobel prizes for innovative ideas far out of proportion to the size of their population.

The Islamics like Osama bin Laden want to live in caves, they think 'academia' is being able to recite the Koran over and over, they want to own women in the same way they own cattle and they want to kill anybody who doesn't believe in Islamic 'peace'.

Americans are not Gods, you guys who are always trying to make it about them are delusional, Americans are just people.

Not all americans are bad, just the majority of the rich and powerful ones. The foregoing doesn't mean that they caused the earthquake which resulted in the tsunami. We do know that the US military forces in the area were warned and the surrounding countries were sent false data about the size of the quake and about the possibility of a tsunami. Why was this done?
