Frank McKenna

P.M. Martin has nominated Frank McKenna to be our next Ambassador to U.S.This would be a tragic appointment for Canada. Mr. McKenna is presently working for the notorious Carlyle group in the US. as chairman of a Advisory group. Did he ask fot he job or was he recruited.Carlyle group has neo con objectives and is heavily influenced by both Bushes. Serving on the same committee is James Baker the third a close adviser to GW Bush. Canadian ambassador is a high risk clearance and his job would entail many private meetings with high up White house officials. My mother told me-Be careful who you are associate with,you will be judged by the company you keep. His connection to Carlyle should remove him from consideration based on conflict of interests.
