CCPA Monitor

I am perplexed by the lack of reference to the Bank of Canada in the analysis and commentary on the federal Liberal record in the April, 2004, issue of the CCPA Monitor. I did not find any even though there is a lot of interest in the misuse of the Bank of Canada. For example, a letter was sent to the CBC Fifth Estate requesting them to do a program on the subject, a copy going to others across Canada suggesting that they show support for such a program. Within 48 hours I received a letter from the Fifth Estate stating that their "mailbox had been inundated with e-mails from people suggesting the same story" and asking that people "refrain from sending additional messages". It is a hot topic.
