Conyers Toes Party Line: No Impeachment

Hey, get with it already. Whether it's Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, Liberals, NDP - they all represent and kiss up to the same special interest corporatists - at the expense of the masses. Government for the (powerful) people, by the (powerful) people.

Who the hell is this Palousi person anyway? A Hillary Clinton clone??? They all get paid to blow smoke out of their asses.

When you're wrong, you're wrong and no amount of denying it will change it. Impeach Bush and demonstrate to the world that you, the American people, made a mistake and you're sorry. That's what will win the war on terror because it will disarm the terrorists. America has been supplying the terrorists with ammunition for long enough.

Everybody got to deviate from the norm

No one could realy expect that overnight changes would be made. Bush is out the door in less then two years. He is not hog-tied but on a short leash. Presently the Democrats are more concerned as to whom will replace Bush. That is their main objective. The campaign for a Democrat to replace Bush has already started and everything else is secondary. Speechs and promises are only to get through the front door. It would be unreasonable to assume the tiger will change it's strips. It would be insane to think the USA will change. Bush just has to learn to say the same thing differently.

The reason for electing new people is that you want changes made now, and yes it is reasonable to expect that it be done. This idea that you have to wait for "x" number of years to do anything is pie in the sky when you die. Did I expect that changes would be made? Only if they had an honest election, you know, the kind where they count all the votes and report the actual results. But that didn't happen, instead they reported a close to dead heat. If they reported that the republicans got 10% of the vote and the libertarians and 911 truth candidates and democrats got the rest then they would have to start impeachment proceedings or have another 911 and declare martial law before the people chased them down the streets and hung them.

Idealistic at best. It still depends on where you want the pain to hurt. There is no government on earth that will give the benefit to the voter. Canada as well, votes them out for the lesser of evils. That "lesser of evil" is voted out in the next election. The Democrats are just going to cause pain differently. Harper will be replaced by the lesser of evils sometime as well. How long in the future do you surmise that we will be seeing the lesser side of the Democrats? Nothing changes but the perspective of the same old thing. As you get older, it becomes "same ol',same ol'.
