Bush Will Find Soul Mate In Canada's Harper

Posted on Thursday, March 30 at 08:36 by FootPrints
In addition, Harper said he'll consider the White House's offer for Canada to join in fielding a continental ballistic missile shield, an invitation that former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin rejected. ''If George Bush can't get along with Stephen Harper, he can't get along with any world leader,'' said David Taras, a political science professor at the University of Calgary. ``They're ideological cousins, if not twins.'' http://www.siliconvalley.com/mld/miamiherald/news/world/14209865.htm?source=rss&channel=miamiherald_world

And may those same gods help people realize that Harper actually hasn't done anything the least bit worrying, and that maybe he ought to be evaluated by the way he does his job, not the way Bush does his.

Well, it's been a few months now and we are still waiting for the sky to fall. So I guess we'll keep on waiting. Just be sure to point out armageddon so we don't miss it when it passes faster than a stiff breeze Dio.

We've had Harper for a few months and the world hasn't ended"

Please remember some things take a little time before people recognize that a smiling cat with stiff hair, may actually turn out to be a nasty rat.

Look at the Bush example set. (and appears to be being followed by our fearless leader)

It took until the second term for the extent of the lies and the propoganda to wear off enough for people to finally recognize the cat as a rat.

THE FIRST VICTIM OF WAR IS THE TRUTH.

We can all be taken advantage of by the propoganda machine. First you control the press into only reporting and talking about what you want. Then if you push to go to war for some reason you have to raise the ire and patroitic furvor of the genreral public.

You do this by say we are defending democracy.
We are liberating and giving women and children (freeing them from rape and torture and the evils of ????)
Thes people only want to live like us in a free and deomcratic society.

Believe half of what you see and 1/4 of what you read. If you want the truth, do not block out or discount any opinions. Read from multiple sources, to be a good citizen of the world you need to look for your own truth. Do not take some elses message as the truth.

The more you hear the same story form some alligned or focused group, the more likely it is propaganda. Propaganda is wat is used in every society to make the common people go along with whatever the administration wants at any particular oint in time.

Well, all of February, all of March plus part of January...since "few" isn't a precise number...yeah, I'd agree that it's been a few months...
Of all the people on this site who should make comments about little technicalities...well...let's just say there are at least 8 grammatical issues with your last post alone...17 words long...seems like every "few" words you make a larger mistake than the one you just imagined.

I actually don't think they will end being soul mates. I think they both "dreamed" they'd be soul mates because they both have delusional aspects and I think Harper will be humiliated once too often as I think Bush has no respect for him. He's a grovelier and while useful to Bush not important.

Today on the news they showed a photo op of Harper reaching to shake Fox's hand then Fox shook Bush's hand and Harper kept reaching to shake Bush's as Bush put his arm around Fox instead. He really looked pathetic, to the point where I even felt sorry for the embarrassment that he is to my country. And I don't know who is dressing him but I hope it's at least Canadian Tire or Workwear World and that he can turn it into a "Roots" kind of fad. Or maybe like the army posters in the NY subway he wanted to remind the world that Canada is a part of the USAmerican war!!!! He's just plain embarrassing.

Shhhhh! Don't use facts where passion is involved! They'll want to blame Hati on Harper soon too.

I have no love for the guy, but I agree, let's give credit (blame) where credit(blame) is due.
