I know this has been bandied about before but, isn't there a pubished list of Canadian owned companies, and Amercian owned companies in Canada? Mr. Hurtig? Does anyone have a source?
If you want to really get a feel for the situation, checkout the Investment Canada Act website - http://investcan.ic.gc.ca/ - the purpose of the act is to "provide for the review of significant investments in Canada by non-Canadians in order to ensure such benefit to Canada". I am pretty sure they have NEVER denied an acquisition.
InterTAN = Tandy = Radio Shack. InterTAN builds most of the name brand stuff that Radio Shack sells under the name "Tandy".<p>

But yes I do hate to see these Canadian companies of any sort being bought by foreign companies...there are suppose to be rules, aren't there?
