"He's been there for 10 years," Layton told reporters following a speech to about 60 party faithful attending a weekend meeting. "We know Paul Martin's policies well and they're very, very conservative policies."

    \"What flag will the future prime minister fly on his boat do you think?\" Layton asked the crowd. \"That of Canada? No. Paul Martin is ashamed of the Canadian flag. He prefers the flag of the Bahamas or Liberia on his boats. He avoids paying taxes by doing that and it\'s unacceptable.\"
